Summary: Good ideas, but already outdated
Comment: It's not the author's fault, but the products used in the book are already out of date. Ikea doesn't sell some of the cabinets I like in the book, and several vendors listed are out of business already.
However, there are very good information and ideas in this book, for example, how high and wide sawing, cutting, and ironing tables should be, and how to fold fabric for storage. It's easy and fast read and I used Ikea's office planner software along with it to plan my sewing room. One thing this book can't change is that I can't put everything I want in my 9x10 spare bedroom! But this book made me think how to use the space efficiently.
